Will Shaffer

I am currently a Linebacker at Utah State University, a graduate transfer from Arizona State University. I have been playing football since I was 6 years old. I have been extremely blessed with outstanding love and support from my family and peers. My parents have always told me to pursue what I love and what I believe in; and to never be complacent. My father, Ravel Shaffer, has been tough on me for as long as I can remember. Constantly implementing a hard work mentality and that nothing will be given to us without it, first, being earned. For as long as I can remember, my siblings and I know no other way. My mother, Kimberly Shaffer, is one of the best mentors I’ve ever had. Making sure that we are always motivated and heading down the right path in the classroom and in our respective sports. I pray that I can have a positive impact and embody a positive figure for every person that I encounter along my journey.
